Welcome friends and family!

Grant is getting so big, today we went to the park and played baseball, basketball, soccer and football. He enjoyed every minute and was REALLY good! I am always shocked at how advanced he is for his age, but being able to hit a baseball (regular sized), with a bat, while it is thrown to him... I don't know too many 2 1/2 year olds capable of doing that! I am so proud of him.

Neal is doing well at Walgreen's and he is regarded as one of the up and coming managers. It is so satisfying to hear how well respected he is within the district and I look forward to seeing him get promoted :) I am doing well with baby #2, the last 2 weeks have been wonderful. The morning/all day sickness is gone and I am starting to look more like a "she might be pregnant" rather than a "she needs to cut back on the donuts!" The baby is moving so much right now, Neal has been able to feel him move for the last week and a half, Grant hasn't been able to sit still long enough to feel the kicks but I am sure he will soon. Grant is so excited to meet his baby brother, and at every doctors appointment he asks if the baby is going to come out yet. My bed rest has been partially lifted to restrictions and I am FULLY taking advantage of it!

This week has been so much fun, last Friday we went to an Angels baseball game and tailgated under the "Big A", then we watched the game from our nosebleed seats. It was Grants first major league game, and he did great. He even stayed up for the fireworks! We left at 10:30pm, and he was talking about the game and fireworks for days to come.

Last Monday we went bowling with the Embury clan. It was such a blast hanging out with them! Such a talented group of kids! Ashton was able to bowl without touching the bumpers and Medoria had a unique run to the line approach that really worked! Grant tried to shot-put the bowling ball and create a mini earthquake to kit the pins. Afterward, we had buffalo wings and laughed. SO blessed to have such great kids to show Grant the ropes.

Yesterday, we had a carefully planned trip to Disneyland. I am still not doing to much walking around, so we planned the rides according to the stops on the train. Grant got to see the Jedi Training show and while he was on Neal's shoulders, his legs fell asleep. We didn't realize this until he was set down and promptly dropped to the floor! That was the funniest and saddest thing ever! Grant had a bout of tears because he couldn't feel his legs and then when he did the pins and needles horrified him. We are such bad parents... laughing at his discomfort... but boy it was funny!

I hope everyone enjoys reading this, now that I am on pregnancy disability I anticipate updating this often and hope this will bring everyone closer. I know Grant loves you all and so do Neal and I. We look forward to sharing our adventures with you!
